Power is a function of the volume, which is heated, the quality of the insulation and the climate zone, in which the dwelling is located:
- For a not insulated house, located in a cold climate zone, it takes about 80 W / m3
- For a properly insulated house, located in the temperate climate zone, it takes about 50 W / m3
- For a well insulated house, located in a warm climate zone, it takes about 40 W / m3
One example of residence 85 m2, with 2.5 m height of the walls, properly isolated and located in temperate climate zones: 85 m2 x 2,5 m x 50 W = 10625 W = 10,625 kW.
